July 1, 2015

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s):

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965 requires that parents or guardians who have children attending a Title I

school be notified of how well their school is preparing its students for college and/or a career, as well as the school’s designation

status under Georgia’s ESEA Flexibility Waiver.

Under Georgia’s ESEA Flexibility Waiver, certain Title I schools are designated as Reward, Priority, Focus, or Alert schools.  The

Waiver also allows the use of the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI), which serves as a comprehensive report

card for all schools in Georgia.  The CCRPI provides a score between 0-100 for each school, and that score measures how well the

school is doing in preparing its students to be successful in college and/or a career.

Blandy Hills Elementary CCRPI score = 70.8 (go to www.gadoe.org if you would like to read the report in full detail).

We are very proud to tell you that Blandy Hills Elementary has not been given a school designation this year, which means we are

continuing to provide a quality education to all of our students.
